We have recently been informed that one of our members has caught a computer virus that spreads through false emails.  It is a subtle one, and apparently it is a ****** to get rid of.

If you receive an email that you are suspicious of, particularly one using unusual text formatting or claiming to come from the 'President' of this organisation (no such post!) . . . . don't click on the link

Winter Lecture Programme

Details of the 2019-2020 Winter programme will be posted here when they are available.

Lectures will be held at 7:30 pm in the Arthur Holmes lecture theatre, which is downstairs from the Porter's Lodge on the Science Laboratories site, South Rd., University of Durham. They will be followed by coffee or tea, to which all speakers and audience members are cordially invited.

Late announcements:  Due to technical difficulties (noisy, unreliable wifi!) full details will have to wait.  Partial details are available on the "Winter events" page.

Further late announcement:  Field trip weekend 7/8 Sept.  Malham & Ingleton.  Details (in docx format) HERE.  Further information if required, please contact Karl directly - Secretary & Webmaster will be difficult to contact for at least the next 2 weeks (early September).
